I am having to replace my B&M tranny (NO...not the kind that wears a dress) due to the lockup not working. Apparently my parts supplier where I bought it and most of my other car related items, tells me that of the last 10 B&M trannys he sold, 4 of them have been returned for warranty related issues. (Mine is a 700R4 and I know that one of the ones returned had a HUGE crack in the casting that they missed at the factory). I opted to go with a 700R4 TCI instead of taking chances on another dud.
Has anyone else had similar problems with B&M trannys or is it just a hiccup in their quality control over the last year or so?
