BlueSS454 Sep 7th, 08, 11:10 PM Lot's of nice cars in those pics Don, thanks for sharing
Very cool! Thanks for the pics.
Pics look great, Don! Thanks for sharing.
I'm curious. For those who attended and who are US Citizens, how much of a hassle was it to get your car in and out of Canada? I'm especially interested in the experiences of those who trailered a car. What kinds of paperwork did you need? Title?
I've heard some horror stories in the past of guys who happened on a US border agent who was having a bad hair day and made life miserable on the way back into the country. Rumors of impounded cars, etc.

I see your question is already answered Pete. He did make it to our Niagara Falls Show this year.

Well Andy, don't know about the horror stories you've heard. I've been going "the other way across the border" with a car on a trailer since I got back in the hobby in 1991. Usually the Customs Officers want to talk about the car and often don't ask the normal questions. Never experienced a problem. I keep the car title in the truck as they occasionally ask for it. Can't see it being much different with an enclosed trailer other than they may just take a peek inside.
Daren71 Sep 8th, 08, 10:56 AM Thanks for the photos Don, they look great. I wish I could have brought my car, but family had to come first. My Dad and I went by about 530pm, and all we saw was an empty lot. Hope everyone had a great time. Maybe next year. Daren

Lots of real nice Chevelles in the pictures. Thanks for putting them up Don. Looks like a great show.
huffhuff Sep 8th, 08, 3:09 PM i find the Beaumonts particularly appealing. when i went thru basic at Ft. Leonard Wood in 1967 there was a 66 Beaumont there. Took a while for us gearheads to figure it out.
427L88 Sep 8th, 08, 5:46 PM My dad bought used Ponchos for all the halcyon years of my youth. Most memorable was a 63 Star Chief , which I saw months after he sold it with glasspacks and mag wheels, runing down the road. COOL! So the Poncho in the Beaumonts has a unique appeal to me as well.
THNX for Serving!
