I don't know what displacement it was but it sounded really healthy when he fired it up. It had a jackshaft running the stock hydrostatic trans and the radiator was where the blades used to be. :D

Wow is right, thanks for the pics! You know....looking at all these pics, and looking at my own 70 with 17" TT's on it....I'm almost thinking I need to go back to 15"s, No one else in my town has a Musclecar with 17" TTs on it but me, but the big wheel trend is really getting commonplace now. I love the way it handles, but part of me wants a set of 15x8" rally's with trim rings and center caps, with the wheels painted red and big fat tires shoved underneath it....:)

That last red 70 looks similar to mine...and I have to say, I like the way that bottom camaro with 15" TTs looks a LOT more! Just my .02. Carry on!

The best part of this show is hanging out in town sat nite. There are cars cruizing everywhere. For those of us that missed it back in the day it only gives us a glimpse of how it must have been.

Bruce, Did you go? - I like when you are leaving the grounds to the north and people are lined up on both sides of the street watching the cars leave, Pretty cool.

Years ago, I was in Frankenmuth at the time the show was going on. I pulled into a truckstop to get fuel when I heard a nasty big block fire up. I turned around to see a bright orange 50's Ford CEMENT MIXER! It was blown and everything. How cool is that?! Is that guy still around up there?

I took my 55 Nomad Gasser. It was a pretty big hit. I was amazed at the amount of people that stopped to look at it. I had a great time there. We hung out with some of the TC guys. Fri and Sat nites downtown were cool. I didn't see the cement mixer this year either.

There seemed to be at least 2 or 3 guys looking at Tony's car the whole weekend. We nick-named it the 'Guy Magnet', Tony didn't seem to care for that name though.:D It was a great weekend.
