Guys I've got a 72 chevelle that the wiper transmission stud broke on the driver side and i've got the arm off but having trouble with the little rod that slides over a pin. I slid back the retainer arm but it doesn't want to come off of the pin. Does the pin unscrew or does it just slip off. I've been trying to slide it off and don't know if it is just buildup over the years or what.

I searched first but it seems like the searches were all aboutt removing the arm itself rather than this piece.

The small arm slides on to the pin and is retained by a clip that slides down the arm. Slide the clip back and then lift the arm off of the pin. PM your email address to me & I'll send you a pic.
