Hey guys I am putting everything back together and was wondering if the firewall insulation goes in before anything else. I am guessing that the insulation goes first and then the accelerator pedal, steering column bracket, emergency brake assembly, etc get installed on top of that? I am also dynamatting the floors, should I run the dynamat up to the bottom of the firewall insulation? put it underneath it? Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian

Sounds good to me. That's exactly what I did (asked the same ? 2 years ago). Before you place the forewall pad, hold it up in place and match up the cutouts, then only remove what needs to come out, I almost cut everything out forgetting it was for several applications of A body. Also, be careful with the pushin retainers-do a search, there was a thread recently about it.

What do I have to be careful about with the push ins?
