after a 2.5 year build ive finally made it to the track. let me preface this with- ive not been to a track in a little over 30 years. the 67 has a race weight of 3625 and power steering and breaks with a 383. my best 1/8 run was a 7.36 with a 1.61 short time. i made total of 4 runs and only had 2 good burn outs. the last run was a 1/4 pass with a pour 60'. could not roll smoke of the tires during the burn out.had a 7.48 1/8 with a 11.72 quarter at 115 mph. the goal for the car was a 11.50 so with tuning ive been told its in the bag. want to say thanks to all that helped. special thanks to John and Rafel. couldnt have done it with out you guys. That's excellent. And in a heavy car, too. I don't think you will have any problem getting 11.50. When is the roll bar going in? Congrats graemlins/beers.gif

Dave,
Congrats, man! That's awesome graemlins/thumbsup.gif I've been monitoring your progress and couldn't wait for you to get it to the track. Very impressive numbers, let alone for a first outing. Some tuning, tweaking and a little more seat time and you'll see low-mid 11's

Dave, I know you gotta be pumped. I'd say that was a pretty successful first outing, especially considering the race weight. Not sure I deserve any thanks though. All I did was eat a Frito pie and say "told ya so" tongue.gif
Now if I could just talk you into getting rid of that hydro-roller. ;)
