All,

I am installing a disc conversion kit and the booster and master cylinder seem like they are angled too far back. I am worried that my hood won't clear. I have already ran a search and I know it is supposed to be angled back, but I think this is too much. Please look at the pic and let me know. I have a 68 Chevelle convt. and the kit is a Right Stuff kit. I bought it at 0 to 60 brake systems but Ground Up sells the same kit. maybe they sent me the wrong kit for a camaro or something.

I have a piece of wood supporting the raditor support and it is bolted in to the fender attachments. it is lower than the hood by a few inches but you can use that for reference. Also, I tried to turn the booster around and it pointed down so low it hit the steering shaft.

Please help. thanks
Andy

Looks like it is angled up a lot, maybe you good make new mounting brackets that angle down a few more degrees.

Looks to me like there is something definitely wrong. The angle of the M/C is way too far up. The booster seems angled higher too, so you might want to check where it's mounted on the firewall. Second thing I would do is double check part #'s with who you bought it from. The one I installed from right stuff seems to be just where it's supposed to be, so beyond that I couldn't tell you where the problem is.
