Just wondering because I used to be more into SBC heads, and now that I've been eyeing BBC more I see a lot of people seem to want to use GM cast iron or maybe AFRs, but AFRs are out of any price range I'll have any time soon...what are some good in-between names? I bought mine complete for ~$1800 from Summit racing, and then had my machinist take them apart to check seat pressure and valve guide clearance.
