I attached to both with screws on my 65. New quarter skin, trunk and drop off. Fitment was a mother you know whater. Big gap between drop off and quarter when the drop off was in what "looked" to be the right spot. I measured the distance from the quarter(at various spots) to the frame on both sides to get the right contour. Still off some but close enough. I could see spending a lot of time on that area of the car to make it perfect. Probably because I just put a skin on???? -MATT

I've been working on/off on my 67. The replacement trunk dropoffs IMO fit like crap. Specifically the frontmost portion is an impossibly bad fit. When looking at the trunk floor from the inside, there is a portion where the trunk floor ramps up a bit to meet the rearmost portion of the wheelwell. Well the dropoffs have triangular section that I believe is supposed to support this section of the trunk floor. Problem is this triangular section doesn't fit even a bit. I had to cut off this triangular section and weld in a piece that fits.
Otherwise the dropoff is not horrible. I fit it with Cleko's or sheetmetal screws before welding.
