I had to put seat belts in my '70 El Camino and I was wondering if there's supposed to be a 3rd set for a middle passenger... mine has a front bench seat with deluxe seat belts. Please help. Thanks!

Yes, there should be a third seat belt for the middle passenger.

When I was a little kid, my dad bought the 65 El Camino (which I now own). It had seat belts for 2. I got to ride, get this...behind the drivers seat!! Dad thought I was safer than riding up front with no belt. A couple of years prior to that I broke the windshield of our 53 F*rd Panel truck when we met up with a lady making a left turn...no seat belts at all in that tub.

Put in the middle belts...I can still see that windshield coming up at me.
