I believe Tom(a.k.a.-HOT66SS) worked for a shop that used Larry to do machine work. Maybe he will offer his opinion.

sorry im late, Mike is right I did work at a shop that used his engines, RUN AWAY AND DONT LOOK BACK, his engine are a hit and miss, some are good some are junk, not the kind of gamble I like to take with engines. Ive had 100k engines burn a lot less oil than his rebuilds

Just to add a little to Tom's advice....they don't exactly have the best customer service either! Back in '98-'99 when I was looking to rebuild my 383ci, which originally lasted 3 months and the guy who built it hit the road to another state  , I called around and Larry's gave me the run around and a bad attitude. I told them that I didn't know much about motors and parts and was looking for help, well one of the guys was really mad and frustrated because I didn't know anything. He told me to call back when I knew what I wanted! How's that for customer service?! Well to make a long story short, I came across Hye Tech Performance and I was sold! They gave me great customer service, great advice, and I really felt comfortable there smile.gif If you're interested in contacting Hye Tech, drop me an email and I'll be more then happy to give you the details smile.gif
