I haven't had the choke connected on my Holley 650 Double Pumper for 5 years so Its just a waste of space. I'm gonna remove it but is there anything I should be careful of doing/accidentaly hitting?
Will a dremel with a cut off wheel work? I don't have access to a mill machine or anything so I was hoping to do this with common tools.

I haven't done this but I have heard of those who simply used a hack saw. I would think that putting tape over the small air bleeds would be prudent. Even then you should spray solvent in them afterward and blow out with compressed air.

This procedure can be done with a hacksaw, then cleaned up with a dremel tool. Your best bet is to disassemble the carburetor though. No matter how careful you are, there is a possibility of getting filings in places that you can't see.
With that said, this is a lot of work and will not result in ANY additional horsepower in a typical street/strip engine combination. You could undoubtedly find other things to do to the engine/vehicle that would produce better results.

On my combo I'm thinking it could make a slight difference, cause my intake is rather tall forcing me to use a drop base air cleaner. With the combination of the choke tower there is maybe, maybe 1/4-1/2 of an inch between the top of the air cleaner lid and the choke tower...not much room for air to 'straighten out'.
