Does anybody have info on this brand? Quality?

I got one for my 66 SS from Rock Auto last year. Good price, excellent tank, fit perfect - couldn't be happier.

I got one from Auto City Classics up in Isanti from Denny up there. Got the sending unit and straps as well. No problems and looked just like my original.

I can't say about spectra- i got one of the Quanta Tanks made in Canada from TamRaz on Ebay- Awesome unit.

I got one in the late 90s and havent had a problem at all. Nice product.

yeah, got one for my 68 from Rock Auto... super cheap, even with shipping. driven for a year in all sorts of weather, still looks like new.

Spectra Premium is the manufacturer and these are the best tanks made out there. These are the Canadian made tanks.

If someone mentions "Quanta Products" realize that Quanta is just a reseller of Spectra tanks. There are a lot of other resellers of these tanks, typically with better prices and better shipping costs.....RockAuto.com is one of them.

Quanta sort of had the market locked up to themselves for years and people started referring to them as "Quanta tanks"...makes you think they have their own unique product. Not so....they were/are selling Spectra's tanks. Fortunately, there are now a bunch of places selling Spectra Premium tanks and the pricing has come down substantially.

I bought one for the Charger. No issues at all with it.

Whats the going rate for a Spectra tank now days? I think I paid something like 120 for my 66 tank back in the late 90s. I will be needing a new tank for my 69SS.

Yeah, about that. Call your buddy at Auto City. I think I paid about a hundred for mine give or take.
