I have a set of 14081045 heads. If anything they would go on my 408 bbc. Are these heads good for a 475 horse motor. I found out they were made from 1978 to 1987 and were 454 heads. But this is all I have found on them. How many cc's are theses heads.

14081045 -- 'Oval Port/Open Chamber' heads (1978-1987).

I think that people don't tend to like these for higher horsepower buildups, and they'll recommend that you find some coveted earlier 'Oval port/Closed Chamber' heads.

Before you throw them in the street, let someone else respond.

You will want to get some closed chambered heads. Alot easier to get compression out of that motor with them
