On it's way to ST LOUIS,MO.I know let it die! That had to be the hardest thing I ever had to do.I couldn't hold back the tears. How does a man get that attached to a car.It was like a part of my family had just died.I won't bring this up again.I'm sure your all sick of hearing about it.Driver

I'll never forget when my dad became disabled and had to sell his '57 BelAir. He kissed it goodbye and cried like he did when his brother died.

I've never been quite that attached to a car (until now), but I felt the same way when I had to sell my Harleys.

:( I'm sorry to hear you had to sell your Chevelle. Its perfectly understandable to be that attached to a car. In my family cars are family. You put a lot in and you get a lot out. graemlins/sad.gif

All my friends thought I should have waited it out that it would have made it up to $17,000-$18,000 but one of the bidders called and offered me $16,000 cash on SAT and said he would be here Sun
with cash in hand to pick it up.That was fast and no worries if the winning bidder had the cash or not so I took it.I thought from the very start that my car was worth $17,500 but thats the way it goes.I just can't get over how hard I took.I'm already thinking of what will be my next ride? One thing for sure I really learned A lot putting this car together so the next one can't be nothing but better. Thanks for all the support.Driver

Congrats, but my condolences for the sale of the car. I think a larger number of us then you know have been in your shoes. I know it really hurts, but hopefully another one will soon find her way to the garage.
