I see a set of chrome hood hinges on a 66 yesterday. Unfortunatley, the owner said they were on the car and don't know who made them. Anybody know of a shop that sells them? Mine are pretty worn and I don't see the sense of having them chromed.

I have never heard of a supplier selling Chromed Hood hinges. I have seen the new Billet Hinges, and they are pricey. Why not rebuild your old hinges, and then have them Chromed Dipped at a chrome shop? Powder-Coat Chrome is nice option as well, and not as expensive.

No company is making chrome hinges.I tried getting into it and found that there is not enough demand for them to make it profitable.You need to have yours done or check ebay they show up there sometimes.

be careful of the E-bay hinges. Most are worn out and then powder coated on there. I can rebuild them and then powder coat them if you need it.
