: 72 Gas Tank

I dropped the fuel tank to clean it up and get the old fuel out of it. During this process I ran across three metal tubes that connect to front of the fuel tank (non neck side) that seem to run into the body. Can anyone explain what these are and where they lead. I assume they are vents, but not sure. If I need to post a pic let me know and I'll get it up. Thanks guys I appreciate it

They go into that thingy mounted behind the rear seat. I believe it's something to do with fuel evaporation. my '70 doesn't have one, 71 did.

These are vents that go to a vapor separator . The vapor separator then sends the vapors to the charcoal storage tank in the left front of the engine compartment.
