Hey guys were do I buy SSM lift bars?? Are the Jegs bars the same and do I need the ones that are $184 for my coil spring 64 chevelle??

Or would I be better off with a set of drag radials??

How about shocks??..I have Auto Zone specials (gabrials) I think

My upper and lower arms were boxed and the car has been lowered about 2 in all the way around...

What do you think??

I ran BFG DR's for 2.5 years. I put the DRs on and installed a locker about the same time. My times picked up only about .03 of a second. The next time I went out I had 4.56 gears (from 3.36 gears) and picked up .4 of a second. After installing a 3000 stall (had a 2000), I had very bad wheel hop. SSM bars solved that problem. I went to slicks after that. I'd put on the parts in the order needed. Start with the tires. I had problems with 60' times and consistency with DRs. Other have had success with them.

I think I read on here somewhere that Jegs ordered a bunch of SSM bars then stiffed SSM on the deal, then started making their own Jegster lift bars that are a copy of them. I really can't say if it's true or not though.
