Does anyone have a good photo or where I can find the correct 350 fender emblems for a 1970 El Camino Custom? My 1970 Elky is a 350/300 HP car. The previous owner put SS emblems on the fenders and I am looking to put the original emblems back on, if I can find a set! Do not think they are reproduced. I do not see many 1970 Elkys around and all I have seen either do not have emblems or have SS emblems. Thanks for the help.

steve, what you are looking for is a raised rectangular emblem with 350 engraved with black. should have 3 studs, one locator and 2 mounting. i have a 71 el camino with a 402, those emblems are 400. i got very lucky and found a nos set(paid a decent buck for them i will say). i've come across 250, 307, and 350's at a few swap meets. nobody reproduces these emblems, so us el camino guys need to search for them. i may have a 350 emblem laying around, i'll check and see if i can post a pic.

I cannot confirm 100% that mine are the correct ones

I know you can't see the 350 emblem all that well, but I remember what it looked like. I had a look at OPGI but don't see it there. The emblem was solid with no opening to the fender.

Are you saying the 350 was in the chrome rectangular block, black lettered '350' inside?

Have been fine, George. ECC is better after the server change but can still be a little slow, particularly with alot of people on line. Your description of the emblem is close but I remember it to be a brushed or satin finish with the numbers cut into it. Glad to here about the 454, I'm sure you will like it.:yes:

Thanks for the responses. I agree that the correct emblems seem to be on a block with raised 350 numbers best I can tell. If anyone does have a good photo of the emblems please forward. The photo would at least give me an idea of what they look like when I go hunt for them. Also, anyone know of a set that is for sale please let me know also. Thanks again for the help.
