Looking good! The car AND the fender ornament! What cam and heads are you using to get 600hp?

I don't have dyno results as of yet. But my engine builder who works for Dart has built at least 10 of these 355's and promises real close to 600hp at the flywheel.

355 bored .030 over
Dart Pro 1's 72cc chamber 2.05 intake 1.625 exh port matched pocket ported
Comp Cams #12-722-9 .562 int lift .549 exh lift @ .050 252 262 dur.
TRW 11:1 pistons
Harland Sharp 1.6 roller rockers
Eagle H-beam rods
Comp Cams roller lifters
Dart Full race intake manifold
Speed Demon 850 Mechanical Secondary
Balanced and Blueprinted
And a few other secrets!!

Yes it is hard to drive!! Next years tax return will get me: Front disc brakes, new wheels and tires, Hotchkiss rear suspension and a few other track goodies.

Well then i should be real close to 600hp as well with my 350. Are you sure hes not being optimistic? Mine is supposed to be closer to like 530hp and 440 tq, according to DD2K {i dont put faith in it at all but its fun to tinker with} I just dont have the roller cam, but i actually have bigger specs than the roller. thats about the only huge difference. Im not trying to start an arguement or disagreement for that matter but 600hp is hard to make let alone with a 350 and thats cool if it does make 600 hp but i just wonder, are you going to have it dyno'd, that would be cool to see how close it comes out.

are the other goodies youre refering to N20? That would surly get you 600HP with the right combo.

The car ain't bad but, I think it would look better with taller tires. You should have never put the babe in the picture. I can't see ANY car now.

Yes I am going to get new bigger tires and wheels next year with the income tax return. And I will get it dynoed next year when it comes out of hibernation. I am hoping for close to 600hp on the 110 octane, but I will be happy with 550hp. Most people figure a 25% loss in the drivetrain, right? Or is that a little high? My engine builder builds IHRA Top Sportsman small blocks as well as other IHRA class motors and also has experience with Lingenfelter as well. He might be a little off sometimes. No NOS as of yet. I need to get it dialed in the way it is for now.

The specs aren't too different from a 357 Joe Sherman built which was in Car Craft a few years back. Made 580 hp with an Isky solid flat tappet and ported Dart Iron Eagles so...

Here is a 355ci I had it ran 122 mph in a 3250 78 Malibu.
355
13.2 to 1 CR
Victor JR
holley 850
Ultradyne 300/308
.573/.590
.05 267-275
Dart heads and victor had been worked on.
It was one good sounding small block through 3" and flowmasters. I did drive on street but not to much.4.88 rear and 8" conv with a glide.
It would 60' 1.44 1/4 mile times best 10.98, 11.0's all day long.
