I checked the new HOLLEY catalog and did locate Part # 26-27;
Inverted flare fitting, tube: 5/16", ... Thread: 7/8-20 x 1/2-20.

If you're running the Holley 4557 that came with your LS-6 like mine did, the only advice I can give you is to call your local Speed Shop and ask them if that size inlet will fit in your carb. I know I do have 5/16" fuel lines coming off the T-block on my original engine.

Sorry to get your hopes up, Chris. :(

John,thanks for the response. I emailed Summit to confirm if the 26-27 inlet fitting will accpet the 5/16 fuel line. Just trying to go back to the stock stuff and get the aftermarket fuel line off the car at the carb.

Chris,

According to the HOLLEY catalog, the specs I provided to you above, HOLLEY Part # 26-27 appears to fit your carb using
5/16" fuel line. (Part # 26-26 is for a 3/8" fuel line).

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....after you got it did you begin modifying it or did you purchase it that way? ;)

I bought mine in February 1970 and although I made a few mods, headers, Hurst shifter, Cragar SS wheels, I saved all the original parts and paperwork, including the PoP. Hell, I still even have the original, F-70x14 UNIROYAL TIGER PAWS! :beers:

John,I bought the car and it was all ready modified. Been slowing picking away at it for the last 7.5 years trying to get it looking correct without taking the car off the road for now..and I drive it alot and enjoy every minute of it.
Glad to know the inlets will work..I have the t-block on its way and I ready have the 5/16 lines for the float bowl inlets.

I would love to see some pictures of your car! :thumbsup:
