Lift: .442''/.465''
Duration: 280°/290°
RPM Range: 2000-4800
but i think i want to put this cam in it
Blue Racer Hydraulic Flat Tappet
Lift: .465''/.488''
Duration: 290°/300°
RPM Range: 2000-4800
is there a real difference in these two

do you have a part number for those cams? Specs sound a little odd and so do the rpm ranges. Based on the low valve lift compared to big duration numbers, they sound like old school grinds. I know that these can be found through crane cams website, but other than that, I dont know much about em. Anyways, yes there would be a difference. Your stepping up 10 degrees duration so there is some difference. I cant say if its worth it though, because I dont know your current engine buildup. For instance, if you happen to be "overcammed" now with your current engine/cam, even though the new cam will make a difference, its bigger yet and wont make a difference that will be in your favor. List your motor combo too(compression, heads, carb, manifold.........). Also, list the vehicle and its drivetrain(what gears, what converter if its an auto...).

Why do you want to change cams in the first place?
