sams66 Aug 27th, 08, 1:47 AM am looking for advice on an alumium radiator. saw sillacooling.com and was wondering if anyone has heard or used there products. going to be in a 66 el camino with a mild 327, nothing radical. any suggestions would be good thanks
claytonisbob Aug 27th, 08, 1:18 PM Just looking at that site... I wouldn't buy from them. It looks like they're geared toward OEM replacement radiators. Plastic tanks in their pictures. No online catalog!
Xtreme70SS396 Aug 27th, 08, 1:23 PM Have you tried Alumitech? Do a quick search here on that word and you'll see why.
However, that may be more than you need at this time, but certainly one of the best, easiest to deal with, and drop-in replacement.

I was at the Pomana car show last week and looked at Silla Radiators,
They were good looking radiators, NO PLASTIC, talked to a owner of a 69 chevelle that had his car in the show, he had a Silla Radiator in his car and said he was vary pleased with it, that it ran about 20* cooler then his stock radiator. Ive been trying to track them down to pick one up and bring back to MN. Will contrubte more when I do.

bikeron Mar 14th, 09, 9:52 PM Silla stuff is made overseas. They brag about the 500 containers (ship containers) per year to bring in stuff from their factories...
Buy from Don (Alumitech). He lives and works here. His product is better than any other manufacturer I have seen. He also supports this forum and Chevelles in general.

Are the radiators for 60 - 65 Chev Impalla, Bel Air, Chevelle etc, all the same size. Will they interchange?
Thanks
