What do most companies charge to change the stall speed of a converter? Has anyone had a converter changed by a company other than the maker?

I had my Hughes changed at A-1 Transmission. Marv, the owner and founder, was the first guy to build a high stall converter back in the 60's. $150 plus shipping.
