With that much stall and compression a pretty big cam would compliment you set-up. I would pick something like comp 306s, IMO the 282s would be to small. I am sure UD Harold has something better on the books. If it is not a street car you might look at the drag race only cam grinds.

BadBob,
If you're concerned about the 3900 lbs and the 4.10 rear, I'd use a SB NF71/NF75-106, 283/291 at .020, 255/263 at .050, .550/.570 valve lift(.016/.016 lash), and 106 LSA, in at 100 int CL.
If you're not, I'd use a SB NF74/NF76-106, 287/295 at .020, 259/267 at .050, .560/.580 valve lift, and 106 LSA, int at 100 ATDC.
Both of these cams will need a good fuel system, and 1.6s on the intake help.
I would rate the smaller one at 540 HP, my way. Westech's dyno would put it over 600.......
The NF71/NF75 pulls good from 3500 in a 350, the NF74/NF76 from about 300 rpm higher.

Ditto Harold on the 106 LSA - with that much stall and compression I'd keep it tighter than the Comp XS grinds. You've got enough converter for a tighter cam IMO and it would really help up top. Shoot, Harold - you got anything with 104 . . . ;)

how 'bout comp cams 304-TLS6 tight lash solid?
