ok this is a silly question but i am putting the chrome strips on the seat bases and backs and i have these endcaps.. can someone tell me how they attach?.. i am not sure how to squeeze them for crimp them where the little spikey parts are hidden.. anyone out there know what i mean? if you can explain it better please let me know..thanks

What year Chevelle are you working on? I believe they were not used on 70-72's, possibly not even on 69's, might be 68's only.

I don't think the chrome strips go on the seat bottoms either. Chevelles only got them on the seat backs.

I forgot about those, lol might be because I dont have them on my 69, hehe:D

I thought he (wadju2 - no name) was talking about those little caps on the chrome trim on the 66's and 67's. All I did was put a little dab of clear silicon and pushed them on. They are still on. Not sure if it's the correct way to do them, but it worked

Check it out. BOPs got the trim on back and bottoms, the lowly Chevelle only got them on the back. Maybe Malibus had both, don't know.
