Can you run a tap through the threads to clean them up?

I thought of that but some of them are to far gone but the rad support itself is in good shape can they be removed or are they part of the support.

Why not drill them out to the next largest size and make new threads?

If not the nuts are normally just spot welded to the support on a corner or two, although I could be wrong.
Just grind away the nut and spot weld a new one in place...Eric

Try your local hardware store, look at McCarr or what ever that large supply store is called.

They are out there you just need to look for them...Eric
