I have a 66 with 15x8 rallys and I have the same question. I will likely switch to 17" Torq Thrust 2s but I am also looking for a disc conversion kit that makes sense. How big? Tubular control arms while I am at it?

Same Q for me too.... I have a 67' w/ 17" TT2s... changing all 4 drums for discs... there are many options out there and I have been looking more and more at Wilwood and SSBC, but they both cost serious coin and may leave me walking funny for a few weeks... please keep me filled in as you guys narrow your search and let me know what you went with. Thanks.

The C5 stuff from KORE3 is attractive and not crazy priced but you have to have 17" wheels......

I am/was right on the fence too. But I have wanted to upgrade handling, it seems like a no brainer to me, the SC&C AFX stuff that has the mounting for the C5/C6 stuff built right in. Keeps the cost of the brake kit down. I farther saved cash because I got a little C5 stuff left over from my 4th gen F car conversion, and got a steal on some stuff from a friend....
How big of wheels are you guys willing to run?????

We were looking at the Kore3 and Wilwood kits. The C5 looks good and makes it easy to get parts. We ended up with a Wilwood kit like this one with a few minor changes on a group buy.

It looks quite complete and should be here in a few weeks.

Now to figure out a spindle... RideTech, Heidts, AFX, etc. Not sure which way to go.

Do some looking on this, some do nothing to help the handling, some dont mess it up and a couple help vastly. I ended up with SC&C AFX stuff, it made the most smarts, big brakes and corrected the geometry.....

Thanks Matt. I don't want to hijack Matthew's thread too far here, but a combo of SC&C and AFX is definitely on my short list. In some ways I regret not going with a C5 brake set and mounting them direct to an AFX spindle. I need to see what it would take to mount up the Wilwood set to the AFX.
