I've got a 70 Chevelle, with an Edelbrock Performer cam & intake, and stock 350 heads (no info); headers, dual flowmaster mufflers. 8.5:1 compression, TCI Streetfighter TH350, 1200 rpm stall, 2.52, 1.52, 1 gears and 2.73 final gear. Any ideas what it might do in the quarter for time and speed? All estimates appreciated. Thanks

My 1/8th mile times with a 2100 stall and 2.56 rear were 9.59.

Id say youve got a mid 15 second car right there.

It sounds like you have a stock converter and have put a little extra cam in it. With the 2.73 gear it will be a dog out of the hole(bad for ET). I would say mid 15s are about right. If you put a 2500 stall and tires on it it would probably run mid 14s.

I have a similar setup, sort of. I have Vortec heads, Performer manifold with a Holley 600 carb, headers, Flowmasters, TH350, and the 2.73 gears with no posi. I do have airbags though, which help with traction a little bit (not much). My best ET so far is 14.61@95.9 in the 1/4 mile. My 1/8 mile averages around 9.5ish, just like TOVAR72. Your car should run in the high 14s, low 15s. Without question, my next step will be gears and a posi.
