bg tech support says if i change secondary jetting i have to equally go down in size with primary.any truth to this???drilled idle bleeds and went down from 71 to 69 prim./79 to 77 sec.
primary side not to rich anymore but secondary still very rich what do you guys think i should do?anybody run a sb 350 0.060 10.2:1 comp
comp 280h, 200/64 cc heads.whats your jetting??

We are running somewhat of a similar cam profile I have a 274 but the 280 I believe is 232/232, anyhow I have a Speed Demon 650 mechanical secondaries and it ran fine out of the box on the street until went to the track. I was running 71 primary and 78 secondaries and the car ran a 13.7 at 99.6 MPH lets not talk bout 60 foot time :( . Then I went up to 73 primary and 80 secondary time went from 13.265 at 104.2 MPH, next I went to 81 for secondaries and ran 13.231 at 106 MPH sixty foot time graemlins/sad.gif You see where this is going the only way I really new the car was running lean at WOT was at the track on the street it ran perfect with stock jets, no pinging and plugs look great but started cut out at 5700 RPM and higer.
Do you have access to your local track? I think test and tune will get you dialed in.
