Is it supposed to light up when you turn the lights on?
I got all my electrical gremlins fixed. Everything!! Yes!
I drove it around the yard and cirlce drive onto the road tonight.
Noticed that the tach is not lit up.
Thanks as always

Thanks Larry Joe.
I went and found the instructions that came with it and there was a wire to hook into one of the grey ones. I had forgotten. Soooo, I should have lights. I'll have to skinny up under the dash.
What is the little screw on the back side point of the tach? What is it for?
Thanks a lot,

I dont understand the question But a guess from description is the screw hold guts in the chrome cap . Another possibility is to set the shift point maybe?
Truly I never looked at one. Although I should get one for mine I just cant take my autometer off and I dont want to look down. There was saying growing up if you had time to look at tach between gears your car was slow this was before shift lites
They would be nice for shows though. They call them knee knockers for a reason
Bad place for a tach in a wreck. No dumber than the blinker that covered turn signal on 67.
They look cheesy as well

Might look cheesy but I like it. Something about a one year only factory wonder. I even have the triangular glass bottle to mount on the left inner fender. hehehe
The light is working but very dim.
Thanks for the replies.
