What gasket would you use on flattop 4 eyebrow pistons with vortec heads? .15, .20shims or a stock gasket. Not sure of the depth in the hole for the piston but it ain`t much. older crate motor 350. Thanks guy`s Chevymans Dad.

When you say your not sure of the hole depth for the piston are you talking about where the piston goes up into the head and almost hits on the valve. If that is what you are meaning then take some playdo put a thin amount on the piston and then just snug the head down with a coulpe of bolts and then turn the engine over and and see how much it indented the playdo. That will tell you how much room you have in there.
