AKA Pneumatic Valve Return System
This is a technology that's been used for many years in Formula 1 and Sports car motors. It's a pneumatic system for pulling the valves shut so the motors can rev to almost 20,000 RPM. I've read descriptions of the device and how it operates, but I've never seen a picture or drawing of one. Just wondering if any one here knows of a book or magazine that covers this system in detail. I already subscribe to Race Tech Mag and bought a book "Formula One Technology 2006/2007 (A Race Engine Technology Special Report)" but I still haven't found what I'm looking for (U2 song running around in my head ). Any help is appreciated.

Well, if anyone's interested, I did find this-

That's the older technology, the new stuff uses metal bellows of some kind.
