I have a Aeromotive electric fuel pump which only draws 4 amps, and was wondering if I really needed to wire in a relay for it. Haven't put it in yet, but will be ready here in a couple of weeks. I know that its probably cheap insurance to use a relay, but wasn't sure.

Also, who makes a good oil pressure switch I can wire into the pump?

I would say yes on the relay, because its a continuous draw, and holley and mr. gasket make some safety switches, pn 12-810 and 7872 respectively...

I guess you could put one in. I've never used on with mine.
