I restored a 68 chevelle interior,i converted it over from auto to 4-speed I put a borg warner trans and the console does not line up with shifter. I called hurst and bought a shifter with a bout a 2 in jog at base of handle,its close but still does not go thru hole in console in middle where its suppose to go,console sits crooked any ideas out there Thanks Dan:(
