Ive got the Mallory HEI Distibutor, not sure which wires to run with it. Angle, and which MM? 8 or 8.5 big difference? The MSD 3136 doesnt sound too bad. Ive got 1969 396/427 large oval heads , I dont think there angle ports, not sure what will fit right.

I heard the 135 Degree angle wires by Taylor work well for header clearance. Not sure!

I don't know anything about Taylor wires,I used the MSD 31199 multi angle 8.5 mm.I burnt two sets of plug wires up,but these are still like new and the multi angle lets you get them away from the headers. There's a little work required to put them together.

I am also using the red msd multi angle boot, they need to be assembled, easy to follow instructions included. Also using the moroso wire separators that bolt to the bottom valve cover bolts. If you are getting universal wires and going to be cutting them to length, make sure you run them through the separators before you cut the wire. Mark
