I have a 67 Elcamino with a SS steering wheel that measures about 16.5 inches, I am wondering if the wood 3-spoke wheels are the same size? I have to squeeze under my wheel getting in and don't really like aftermarket wheels. I was hoping the factory wood wheels are a little smaller, does anybody have one they can measure? Thanks

I think they are the same,
My brother has a 66 with the 2-spoke wood wheel and it is HUGE.

For this reason I will be using a 69+ wheel on my 66.
The Black rimmed Comfort Grip wheel is comfortable to me (in my 59 Elky)

You may be able to mount the 69 wheel on a 67 hub. This wheel is 15.5 dia wheel IIRC.

The one I have is 16", so that isn't much difference!

The wheels of wood variety on the 67 are smaller than the previous two bar.
Two bar is a tad over 16 inches. 67 was the first year for the rosewood three bar in a chevelle. I too have the two bar in my 66 for shows for daily use I either use a w-30
4 bar cutlass wheel or the later comfort grip in GM Some skylarks and apollos are smaller than those. They are nice.

Some Corvette steering wheels bolt to those wood wheel hubs and they are of a smaller diameter. Up to 1982 will fit
