No one ever goes in suspension section smile.gif I will post in both, i need quick help! Check this out....
Well i got the upper arms off no problems. Im staring at the ball joints and comparing them to the new ones I got. It's strange. There are the 4 small bolts that hold it in. The old ones which ive yet to pull off look like there are little stud like nubs that go through. They look like they were spot welded in. What should I do? Grind them off?
Thanks guys...

I have yet to install a front end, however I do know that the little nubs you are talking about are rivets. The new ball joints are bolted in. I think this is where a pickle fork is needed. I will be doing this very same thing in a few weeks.

The pickle fork seperates the ball joint from the spindle. Totaly differant thing.

7 minutes.. haha... yeah i know. things get a little nuts when everything is taken appart. I guess this is where an air chisel would be a good thing. I drilled them down and chiseled the rest off. Wierd how they changed from this to the bolt ons. What a pain!

Then all you have to do is cherry 'em up and smack 'em with a hammer then hope you smacked 'em hard enough so the front end doesn't fall apart while you're driving. Or, you can bolt them in and let it be that. That's why they changed.
