I have my car down to the shell and frame,do i do the body work first or rebuild the frame and suspinsion first? i need a qtr panel put on, i can't do both at the same time it's either the frame first or the body first. Thanks for all the help so far.
In my opinion, and I have a club member who did that, you need to get the frame done, so you can set the body on new body bushings.
Probably the gas line and brake lines need done on the frame before dropping the body back on it.

I second that. I did my frame and suspension with new bushings before starting the body work.

Larry, I have been pondering the same situation as you with a rusty 69. How bout lifting the old body off the frame, install the new bushings, put body back on and do all the metal work- pans, quarters, doors etc. Then before painting, pull body back off and get the frame stripped and p-coated, brake lines, motor etc., then put body back on it for finish paint?

Yea thats exactly what i'm going to do but, ran into a small problem last night, the four body nuts in the rear were turning with the bolt? but i got it figured out with help from Blackmajic (Brian) here.
