I was told that my 396 has a 292 competition cam. Anyone know what this is? Ive looked on the comp cams website and didnt find anything but I dont know excatly what im looking for.

Maybe Comp 292H hydraulic flat tappet: 244/244 .550/.550 That's a lot of cam. "Very rough idle."
