Can anyone tell me exactly where on the door panel the remote mirror adjustment knob goes on a 66? By looking at it, I would guess it goes on the upper part of the door panel towards the dash board where there is a cutout in the door shell.

Hi Brian,
I think it goes near the top of the door panel slightly to the left of where the screw for the vent window assy is. There is a square hole in the metal door there also. If you have pics please send them to tkmhwood@comcast.net. I appreciate the help.

When I installed mine, I had an original 66 door panel that had an original remote knob still installed in it...so I could match it up exactly in the same place on my new door panel.

Hope the pictures help. I think the remote mirro is a cool option for 66.
