I am wondering what would be the best set-up for my 66 chevelle. I get no traction with the 245 60R 15 BFG TAs. I want to drive the car on the street and strip on occasion. I run a Richmond 4 speed and cannot get my tires to hook up at all at the track.

I'm pretty sure a 275/60-15 Drag Radial will fit. I had them on my 67 and the wheel wells are the same.

I have 275/60-15s on my 66. They should fit yours with no mods. if you run 4.5" backspace on the rear wheels. You can make them fit with 4.25" backspace with a little massaging of the inside lip of the quarter panels. Hope this helps.
