Cool pics! Looks like you had some monsoons pop up while you were up there...

A dam broke in the Grand Canyon area...lots of low level flooding going on...

Yep... it was actually on our way out, I stopped just to get some of those pic's, also took some video with some cloud to ground lightning.... next time I'll open the lens cap !!:clonk::(
Hoping to get up to the Rim in Payson , actually more of a favorite of mine, Sedona's a fav of my wife.
My # 1 place out here is Havasupai Indian Reservation down in the canyon , hiked down there a few times back in the 80's :cool:

Thats too bad. I know its a little warm out there right now. But if Bruce knows of any car cruz's going on before you leave. that would be Kool to see before you left the valley. Rick

Yeah... it's warm.... but I'll take a 105* here over 90-95 home anyday:yes: although the humidity is a little high here now, but nothing like Ct.
I hit the Pavillions this past Saturday not a lot of Chevelles , a Green 70 with a LS 1 motor and a I think it was a red 64, but a good time none the less!!!

Looks like you & Bruce might have close to the same car. Bruce is one hell of a guy. I met him here on line 1st. Then we met up at the 83rd cruz. One of the nicest guys I ever met. Took me to his house introduced me to the family. the man couldn't do enough for me. So when car craft was here in Minn last month. I asked him if he wanted to go with. He had free room & board. Plus he could ride in with me in the Chevelle to car craft. but they had the vacation in San Deigo coming up. If you can Seb. hook up with him for a few mins. If you do. tell him I said hello. Rick

Great shots Seb, are you close to Williams AZ, it's a restored Route 66 town and it really is the way it was. While youv'e been gone I guess you haven't heard that Brady is out for the season with a bad leg.

Did you hike the Superstition Mountians outside of Phoenix? I did that once and it was amazing at the top... a whole new world.

Nope.... probably not a good idea this time of year.
The only hiking I've ever done in AZ was down to Havasupai reservation in the Grand Canyon (the place that just had the floods) and some hiking on the Mogollon Rim in Payson..... both while I was in my 20's ;)
