Is there any reason why the upper control arm would be adjusted to two different lengths? I was under teh car checking torque on teh trailing arm bolts and saw the uppers set this way, does this make sense?
Thanks,
Don

you talking about a Chevelle or Corvette? Stingray..

I would'nt worry about it as long as the car tracks straight, stays straight under power, and everything is solid. If the lowers are adjustable, then that may be the issue.

This is on my 71 Chevelle, I had a shop do a 4 wheel alignment and have been having some issiue. I was under the car the other day checking the trailing arm torque and noticed the mismatch in the uppers, I just thought it was odd. But I am not as experienced with the Chevelle as the vette so I questioned the set up.

The originals are the same length.
I would think the adjustables should be also.

I wouldnt spend the money on 4wheel alignment. Just set them equal and align the front. Perhaps the previous owner was trying to shift the rear to one side? I know alot of rears are not centered perfectly with the bodies due to body not be on the frame and tolerance stackup. Maybe they thought this was the fix?
