VinceS427bb Aug 17th, 08, 2:34 AM you have a 300 deluxe 2-door sedan model? what parts are you looking for?? have you checked the ads on this site? oldtimebaseballfan Aug 17th, 08, 8:59 AM Hello Ed. A friend of mine restored a 68 post car and he had the same problem. He finally decided to go with the 2 door hardtop parts. They are not the exact replacement parts but they work. He was building a clean street car that can be taken to shows and cruises. He is not into Concours correctness. I understand there is a company in Oregon or Washington named SMS that makes correct parts but they were too expensive for my friend. 68PostChevelle Aug 17th, 08, 12:27 PM Yeah Vince, l have a 68 post chevelle, click on user info and you will see pic or click into showroom for pic. l'am looking for door panels for my post and as far as looking on here for parts, l have not started yet. To "oldtimebaseballfan" your saying non-post chevelle door panels will work? This car is a street cruiser,(not a Concours car) so if non-post parts work, l will have to look into it. Thanks Guys meandckailua Aug 18th, 08, 3:52 AM im new to chevelles....how do you tell if its a post chevelle or hard top....is it just the b-pillar? oldtimebaseballfan Aug 18th, 08, 10:01 AM im new to chevelles....how do you tell if its a post chevelle or hard top....is it just the b-pillar? Thanks Guys He put them on his car. Like I said, it is not an exact fit but it does work. If I remember correctly the panels are about half an inch difference in length. forcd ind Aug 22nd, 08, 10:10 AM if you have exhisting panels, pui has unassembled panels, you use your old metal tops-they fit good-Ausleys got the panels for me (thru pui) |
