Hello Ed. A friend of mine restored a 68 post car and he had the same problem. He finally decided to go with the 2 door hardtop parts. They are not the exact replacement parts but they work. He was building a clean street car that can be taken to shows and cruises. He is not into Concours correctness.

I understand there is a company in Oregon or Washington named SMS that makes correct parts but they were too expensive for my friend.

To "oldtimebaseballfan" your saying non-post chevelle door panels will work? This car is a street cruiser,(not a Concours car) so if non-post parts work, l will have to look into it.

That is the easiest way to tell. The VIN will also tell you.

He put them on his car. Like I said, it is not an exact fit but it does work. If I remember correctly the panels are about half an inch difference in length.

if you have exhisting panels, pui has unassembled panels, you use your old metal tops-they fit good-Ausleys got the panels for me (thru pui)
