Im abashed when I see some recommendatations on websites based on nothing but pure unadulterated hearsay.

I saw an engine build thread yesterday that was quite bad about this. at least 10 recommendations for a builder and maybe 2 of the people had actually used his engine.

I think we need to keep in mind that people are spending hard earned money on these parts and its only sensible to not recommend a product one has not used.

ANYBODY can post ANYTHING on the net, true or not. even on "wikipedia" :(

99.9% of what you find on the internet is based on pure unadulterated hearsay.....wikipedia and other sites that some folks take as gospel truth, including AP news.

It was, afterall, invented by Al Gore... :D;)

The internet is great for getting opinions. If you want advice, go to the internet. You'll ask 10 people, get 3 people "for" something, 3 against, 2 rebutting everything anyone ever said, one also interested............. and Beaux.
