WAS TOLD THAT 1966 12 BOLTS DI :confused: DN'T use C clips , thought all 12 bolts were designed as C - CLIP TYPE REAR ENDS. are they a bolt in on the ends type axle THEN IF NOT A c -clip? HAVE 2 1966 12 BOLTS AND A 1967 so need to I.D. THEM - THANKS

All Chevy 12-bolts are c-clip set ups. There are aftermarket c-clip eliminator kits you can buy and install, but the General built them with c-clips.

I think I read somewhere that maybe one or maybe all of the BOP rearends are not C-clip type so maybe you need to check into them.. Hope this helps.
You can tell them by their covers being diff. then the 10 and 12 bolt covers with the "V-notch" shape.

thanks for your info- I thought all 12 bolts were c-clip type, looks like some bad info . any body have any left over c-clip eliminater kits ? NEED 30 SPLINE 66/67 LENGHT AXELS ALSO- MARK graemlins/thumbsup.gif
