36 years it lasted in the car,until I bumped it with my knee as I was getting behind the wheel. Anyone know where I can find one of those little chrome golf T looking adjusters? I assume that I can change it out without removing the door panel also.

I would start looking in the junk yard for one. Lots os different cars have the same knob.

Its reproduced but I dont know if you can get just that part??
As far as I know they reproduce them for the new reproduction mirrors.
I dont know who easy its going to be to replace it since they are small cables that are pressed into the back side of the knob?
