Ok, I cant afford to do this now but Im thinking about changing directions yet again and the car isnt even assembled yet. :D

Through looking over an old book with a friend think when I get bored with the car this will give it the "something" (or rat factor) Ive been looking for but couldnt quite put a finger on it.

Car is now white/red, hae a repop cowl induction air cleaner withsteel cowl hood already

-Lower the car....much more
-Minilites or something similar.-;maybe some wide plain black steelies/reverse wheels
-Semi gloss the cowl induction hood black
-Get a smokey yunik type aircleaner and attach it to the duct in the firewall or better yet get my hands on some old crossram and port it to death to keep up with this motor.
-Maybe even some type of chin spoiler for the front......
-Dont think flares would look good though.

Am I nuts? I can see a new craze starting among musclecars...If done right I bet it could draw a lot of attention, something different would be cool.

So much for the perfect paintjob, guess I cant have anything nice :hurray:

Just dreamin, whaddya guys think?

Get something like this, port it to death and angle mill to match. Smooth the casting and powdercoat grey

I'm trying to remember..... was it here or over in the ElCamino forum of chevytalk that had a white 66 built as a roadracer. It was pretty cool looking.

There was a pretty cool '67 built as a Ferrari beater (sorry, FerrariTruck, no harm intended !) which was featured in Hot Rod, I believe.
A very fast aluminum rat powered Malibu, regularly toasted Italian and German supercars on their home turf, road courses.

Love it!! By that I mean the skirts, Mike. You always inspire me. :D

This is a 66, theres another vid of him on Willow somewhere and a 67 autocrossing . THis sounds like fun.

There should be a way to get the old Trans Am flavor but still keep the car looking "nice" without looking poser-ish.

Keep the ideas coming so I can ruin a perfectly clean car.

This pic is awesome..

I am glad you thought it was funny, I thought there was a gas leak in here by the responses of others. LOL
It was only fair, you drew a monster hood scoop on my black one.
These guys dont know the whole story Ron, Really just put your car together and enjoy it bro. It will be just as fast with or without flairs.
