Has anyone used these things yet? Lifter Holders (http://www.sdpc2000.com/catalog/3514/products/210398/GEN-1-Small-Block-Quick-Cam-Valve-Lifter-Guide.htm) I read about these things, but wondered if they were worth the plastic they are made out of. It would be nice to be able ot swap cams without yanking the intake.

Believe those are what the LS1 uses from the factory or something very similar.
I have a set sitting in the shop someone brought over to look at.
Looks like you could drill & tap between the lifter bosses & mount them on a stud if you are so inclined as they have a hole in the center of the part that goes between the pairs,,, I just don't have the time to mess with them in the near future,,

I was thinking that over time they would loosen up and wouldn't hold the lifter very well. I'd hate to have a lifter drop with the cam out, but with the amount of mileage I put on Chevelle, they would probably be fine. They are under 10 bucks per side so it'll be cheaper than intake gaskets down the road if I get cam-swap happy.
